The gage can handle profiles made of plastics, rubber or metal. Flaws occurring during production can be detected much earlier and corrected in real time. Cumbersome sample preparation has become a thing of the past. The innovative system saves time, money and process steps. Measuring technology specialists Pixargus offer the <span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">ProfilControl 7 DX ICSM system<\/span> as an inline or stand-alone unit.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"news-text-wrap\">\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">The ICSM (Inner Cross Section Measurement) system developed by PIXARGUS<\/span> <span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">replaces conventional offline measurements using tabletop projectors<\/span>. This dramatically reduces the production of out-of-specs material,\u201d<\/em>\u00a0says Broichhausen. Another advantage of this innovative technology is that rather than picking random samples, <span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">ProfilControl 7 DX ICSM<\/span> checks the complete inner cross section of all profiles of a batch and automatically generates a test log of each piece of profile.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Smart multi-camera sensors even capture the clamping sections<\/strong><br \/>\nIn order to get a grip on the inside geometry of profiles,<span style=\"color: #ff9900;\"> the Pixargus metrology experts<\/span> have combined <span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">special measuring algorithms<\/span> into an entirely new measuring concept. The ICSM module inspects the profiles immediately after the cutting process. Any contamination of the measured profile in the form of saw dust or transient deformations caused by hot cutting techniques (guillotine cutting) are recognized and masked out by the ICSM. The intelligent module is capable of extracting interfering effects. \u201c<em>We operate within a strong network and make use of the full performance potential of our software,\u201d<\/em>\u00a0adds Broichhausen.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Wall-thickness measurement for tubes and hoses<\/strong><br \/>\nICSM can also be used to measure the thickness of walls and layers. This makes the ProfilControl 7 DX ICSM devices also suitable for the measurement of the inner cross section of cut co-extruded hoses and tubes, replacing conventional measurements by ultra sound.<\/p>\n<p><strong>ProfilControl 7 DX ICSM: Inline or stand-alone unit<\/strong><br \/>\nIn the <span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">Pixargus Classic Solution Line<\/span>, the <span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">PC7 DX ICSM<\/span> comes with an easily maneuverable undercarriage for flexible use at the line. <span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">The module of the Factory Solution Line<\/span> has been optimized for installation in the extrusion line. The system measures the inner cross section continuously at line speeds of up to 50 meters per minute. <span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">Pixargus offers the PC7 DX ICSM<\/span> also as a stand-alone automatic measuring station.
